Tours to Seymour Hatchery and Dam

I have just learned that there are tours going to Seymour Dam and Hatchery. This means its possible to get the caches up in that remote area without the looooong walk or bike ride. This includes The BC Milestone Challenge GLR7817N and various others.  This is a message I received from Sasha, a voluneer with Seymour Hatchery. "

"there will be tours this Sunday, June 18th, as part of our Family Fishing Day event at Rice lake. Buses will be running from Rice Lake Gate up to the hatchery and dam. Tours will begin at 11 am until approx. 2:00 pm.  If you want to wait until August, we have an Open House event on the 27th of that month. Buses will be shuttling people in and out of the watershed from 10 am until 3 pm. If those dates doesn't work for you, I think the next best thing would be to contact Metro Vancouver. They run watershed tours in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve throughout the summer." For more info, you can contact volunteering@seymoursalmon.com
